[Korea] Soesokkak Estuary in Jeju

 

Soesokkak, located in Hahyo-dong, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do, was originally named Soedun because it was in the form of a cow lying down, but it was named Soesokkak because freshwater and seawater flowing through Hyodoncheon Stream meet to form a deep pool. It means that iron is a cow, a cow is a puddle, and a sharp end. Soeso is a valley-like valley formed by lava flowing down, creating a fun and unique topography as its name. 

Soesokkak is one of the hidden unexplored areas in Chilsim-ri, Seogwipo, and creates a beautiful scenery as strange rock formations made of deep water and lava and pine forests harmonize. Hahyo-dong, where Soesokkak is located, is located in the southern front of Hallasan Mountain, and is famous as the main production area of tangerines, and the fragrant smell of tangerines throughout the village is excellent. There are many famous tourist attractions such as Jusangjeolidae, Jungmun Beach, and Cheonjeyeon Falls, so it is good to look around together.
