[Korea] Tapdong Square
a good place to enjoy the sunset along the beach trail
It is said that there were originally two towers in Samdo-dong, Jeju Island, but it is called Tapdong Square that was created after reclamation of the coast. It was a place where villagers collected seafood and enjoyed playing in the water during low tide when the sea water was escaping, but according to the plan to create a coastal landfill in 1985, a coastal promenade as it is today was created. It is a good place to enjoy the sunset along the long beach promenade from the western two breakwaters, and it is loved by not only citizens but also tourists as it has a beach performance hall and sports facilities.
